On the 11th and 12th of May I took part in the Waendel road-marching walk.

During the walk I would carry plenty of water and food for energy to help me walk the 25 mile distance per day, I also had a card that would be stamped at each checkpoint to ensure I completed the full route. When I completed the first day I took the necessary precautions to heal and be ready for the next day of walking.

On the next day of Walking I started in high spirits to complete the walk, again supplied with plenty of water and food for energy to help me finish the walk.  As I progressed on the second day I began to feel pain and started to slow down massively. Unfortunately this wasn’t good for time as I had a deadline to finish.  Luckily I managed to push through the pain and finish the walk just before the deadline time and completing the Waendel Walk and gaining my bronze Road Marching Badge.
