On Sunday the 13th of November, 148 (Barnsley) Squadron were out in large numbers to commemorate those who have fought and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country’s freedom, on Remembrance Sunday 2022. 

Everyone was smart and respectful.  It was a fantastic effort by everyone who attended the Barnsley Remembrance Sunday parade and the Squadron is extremely proud of being excellent representatives for both the RAF and the RAF Air Cadets. 

We had the honour of leading the parade with the Union Flag, carried by FS Yates. FS Crawford paraded our Squadron banner along with other standards on the day.  Also, we had the honour of supporting the Mayor of Barnsley by Sgt Fisher supporting her for the day.  

It is great to be making progress in getting back to parading again after COVID-19.  We have a lot to be proud of and thankful for.
