Well done to the 6 cadets from 148 (Barnsley) Squadron who have completed all their required training, practices and assessed expeditions for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards. The journeys challenged the group physically and navigationally, but all candidates rose to that challenge and worked really well as a team. The weather across the 6 days and 4 nights of journeying was changeable, but overall really nice. My thanks go to Squadron Leader Kirk for assessing this group, but also to the whole staff team who have invested so much time and work into the cadets. I believe these cadets are going for Gold in the future! Well done all and good luck on the next step of the journey.
