Sergeant attends their Combined Initial Course

On the 26th November Sergeant Annetts travelled to RAF Cranwell to undertake her Combined Initial Course at the command and leadership school. Food and accommodation in the Sgt’s Mess was lovely and, set the course candidates up for a comfortable week. The week was packed with informative theoretical and practical sessions, which were delivered in an engaging way.

Criteria for assessment included leadership, Drill and Discipline, deportment and attitude. All candidates on the course had a great week and worked well together with emotional intelligence and good team synergy. The week was enjoyed by all, with all the hard work culminating to the graduation on the Friday afternoon, whereby all successful candidates were issued with new rank slides. Before departing at the end of the week course candidates took some time to debrief and exchange contact details so that they could keep in contact into the future as part of the wider RAFAC family.
